Heart and Hands Retreat 2015

How much stuff can you stuff in a van for a retreat??
5 sewing machines...

20 projects...

100 yards of fabric(literally)

4 queen size battings

All the sewing paraphernalia

4 people......

off for a weekend of sewing at Kenosee Lake
with 
the Heart and Hands Guild!!

I started the day with my Pfaff Passport.....



But ended with my new 'old' singer featherweight!!

Thanks to Heather Piermantier(my 'dealer') for this sweet little machine.

It a 1949 model and works like a dream!


The weekend kicked off with a mystery project

which

remained a mystery only till step ONE....

when Eileen accidentally slipped out how to begin your BAG!!

Too funny!!

There were all kinds of bags whipped up in no time!!



As the weekend progressed the projects emerged....





Show and Tell is always impressive...

Terry was taking this Stag home to quilt for a customer

Can't wait to see how she enhances this one!!

The show started with Karlyn's chevrons...

One person that was missed was Irene Roy!!



Irene recently moved to Saskatoon 
and 
I am happy to report she is really enjoying it.

  1. So many beautiful quilts! My favorite are Amy and Karlyn's scrap quilts. Do you know the name of the pattern or where the pattern is from? And who made the yellow and green bargello quilt? It looks very similar to the pattern I have picked out.
